The basketball world recently found out that LiAngelo Ball will be signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Charlotte Hornets. This places LiAngelo on the same team as his brother, LaMelo Ball.
There’s one more Ball brother playing in the NBA, and that’s Lonzo Ball, who plays for the Chicago Bulls. Lonzo is currently battling a knee injury that will see him miss the beginning of the season.

LaVar Ball says his sons will play together
Lonzo’s father, LaVar Ball, recently was in an interview with David Kaplan of NBCS Chicago, and Kaplan asked if he believes Lonzo and LaMelo would ever play on the same team together. LaVar gave a great response to the question.
“I’m going to speak it into existence, they are going to play together,” LaVar said. “All three of my boys — not just two. All three of three and you’re going to see a show that you’ve never seen before.”
LaVar went on to give the Chicago Bulls some advice on how to maximize Lonzo’s ability by choosing the perfect backcourt player for him. Of course, there could only be two players on LaVar’s mind.
“Here’s the thing for Chicago: if they were smart, you go get Lonzo’s running mate who he’s been running all his life and his game goes to a whole new level and that’s Gelo. And then things will go good and super and now you call Melo up.”
Now that LiAngelo is a member of the Charlotte Hornets teaming up with LaMelo, there’s only one brother missing: Lonzo. In a recent article posted by Bleacher Report, they wondered if the Bulls should look to trade their injured point guard.
Now, this seems highly unlikely from the Bull’s standpoint, but if LaVar Ball is whispering in the ears of the Bulls’ front office, maybe we’ll see a shocking trade that sends Lonzo to the Hornets to join his brothers LaMelo and LiAngelo.
Again, this appears to be highly unlikely, but if LaVar has his way, it’ll become a reality. LaVar always said all three of his boys would make the NBA, and that looks to be happening. Maybe he’s right about this one, as well.
