14-year NBA veteran Khris Middleton is returning to the Washington Wizards in a sign-and-trade that’s part of a larger six-team trade, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The Dallas Mavericks are sending Middleton to the Wizards in a huge deal that includes the Mavericks, Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies.
The moves involved consist of previously reported deals, like Isaiah Stewart to the Grizzlies and John Collins to the Pistons.
Middleton spent parts of the last two season with the Wizards after being traded by the Milwaukee Bucks at the 2025 deadline.
Last season, the 34-year-old averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 63 games and was traded to the Wizards in February.
During his 12-year tenure on the Bucks, Middleton was an All-Star three times and helped Giannis Antetokounmpo lead Milwaukee to a championship in 2021.
Now, he’ll be returning to a Wizards team that appears to be coming together well.
