Despite a slew of trades and signings this offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers are not slowing down in their revamp as it is targeting another talented wing on the open market.
According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, the Lakers are pursuing former Atlanta Hawks forward Jonathan Kuminga who recently declined his $24.3 million player option. Kuminga has now met with both general manager Rob Pelinka and head coach JJ Reddick according to Slater, pitching him on the idea of playing alongside Luka Doncic.

Despite only having one roster spot remaining following the signing of Kevon Looney, Pelinka has remained in touch with Kuminga’s camp.
The Lakers busy offseason included the acquisition of Walker Kessler, Sandro Mamukelashvili, Quentin Grimes and Colin Sexton.
