Damian Lillard endured tough moments this season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
He would miss three weeks down the stretch of the regular season after suffering a blood clot in his right calf on March 25.

Breaking: Damian Lillard has torn Achilles and will miss the remainder of the postseason
The 34-year-old would then make a miraculous recovery that even surprised doctors.
Lillard returned for Game 2 versus the Indiana Pacers in round one of the Eastern Conference playoffs. “Dame Time” had his triumphant moment short lived as in Game 4 on April 27 he injured his left calf in the first quarter in pursuing a rebound.
The final report was a torn left Achilles tendon, which ended the rest of his season. Milwaukee was bounced from the playoffs in the first round for a third straight time, yet good news emerged for Lillard. The nine-time NBA All-Star and six-time All-NBA Team selection underwent a ‘successful’ surgery, according to the Bucks. The news came out Friday as Dr. Neal Eiattrache in Los Angeles (Calif.) performed the surgery with the consultation from Bucks’ orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Carole Vetter.

The Bucks do not know what will become of Giannis Antetokounmpo as different teams are looking to get him in a trade, but at least it will have Lillard healthy for next season.
