Damian Lillard is coming home. New reports are out stating that Lillard will sign a three-year $42 million deal to return to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard was famously released from the Milwaukee Bucks on July 1. This was a move that surprised everyone. It was also a move that Lillard welcomed. We now see why.

Lillard wanted out of Portland and pushed for it back in 2023. After finally getting his way, it appears as if Lillard realized that the grass was no greener on the other side.
Now he gets a second chance to write his history as a member of the Trail Blazers. Unfortunately, Lillard will have to wait until he’s fully recovered from his torn Achilles. When he does return, it will be great to see him back in a Portland jersey.
