Fans were mixed on the idea of Lillard returning to Portland. Some believed this was a great way for Lillard to end his career where it started. While others made jokes about it, as they don’t believe the Trail Blazers are a championship contender.
As for Lillard, he will have to wait until he’s fully recovered from his torn Achilles to return to action. But his new three-year, $42 million contract will make his recovery a little easier.
