Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee during Monday night’s 135-112 win over the Miami Heat, according to multiple reports.

The injury occurred in the third quarter when Butler landed awkwardly following a contested pass and had to be helped off the court.

Butler, who has averaged 20.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season, underwent imaging that confirmed the worst-case scenario: a season-ending ACL tear.

This marks a significant setback both for Butler’s career and for the Warriors, who have been desperately trying to stay in the playoff hunt out West.
