It was a glorious day for the Ball family and its fans as LiAngelo Ball was announced as an official member of the Charlotte Hornets.

Hornets general manager, Mitch Kupchak delivered the news and it sent social media into a firestorm.

LiAngelo’s signing gives the Hornets 20 players on its roster heading into training camp. The middle Ball brother will have a legitimate shot at making the team, but will likely take another detour to the G-League with the Greensboro Swarm.

In the midst of all the pomp and circumstance, LiAngelo was able to partake in his media day responsibilities.
