The transition from the JBA League to other pro opportunities has been a journey for many former alums, but Corey aka “Big Jelly” Boyd has found a home with a semipro league. The 6-foot-9 260 pound versatile big man is currently playing for the Kokomo Bobcats of The Basketball League.
Boyd was a standout in the JBA League with the Atlanta Ballers. He made the all-star team and was invited to be a part of the spin-off JBA USA Team.
Currently, Boyd is averaging 8.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG on 57.1 % shooting.
See the recent shoutout he received for earning Player of the Game honors in a recent game.
