The shockwaves are still pouring through the NBA after the Knicks fired Tom Thibodeau from his head coaching role.
He led New York to the Eastern Conference playoffs in four of five seasons — including a trip to the conference finals this year.

It fell to the Pacers in the finals; however, Thibodeau guided the Knicks to back-to-back 50+ win campaign.
New York supporters are not happy, but the organization is looking for a new coach. NBA fans used this moment to go to social media provide opinions on who they think the Knicks should hire. Michael Malone, former head coach of the Denver Nuggets, has been the popular choice. He coached the Nuggets to an NBA Championship in 2023 and guided Nikola Jokic to multiple Most Valuable Player honors. We will see what the Knicks do, but the fans would love to see Malone as the next coach.
