The NBA has fined Ja Morant $75,000 after making multiple gun gestures during Thursday night’s game after already being warned by the league just hours beforehand.
Morant received a warning from the league on Thursday after an investigation into the gun gestures he made during Tuesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors. However, Morant ignored the warnings and repeated the gun gesture multiple times during Thursday night’s matchup.

Morant acknowledged that his gestures are making headlines and said he’s “felt like a villain for the last two years now.”
Morant’s history with firearms dates back to 2023 when he was suspended for eight games after brandishing a gun on Instagram Live. Two months later, he did it again and received a 25-game suspension.
