Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is one of the most confident athletes on the planet, and for good reason. The 23-year-old is coming off of a fantastic season that was followed up by gold medal win at the Paris Olympics. It’s safe to say he’s been busy.
In an excerpt released by ESPN of a sit-down between Edwards and fellow Minnesota sports star Justin Jefferson, Edwards was confident that he could play in the NFL. He even claimed that he might give football a shot if he wins an NBA title soon.

Edwards has long been compared to Michael Jordan, and this time it’s not because of his on-court play style. Instead, it’s his similar motivations to try another sport at the professional level.
