Anthony Edwards reveals lesson learned from Stephen Curry

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards recently revealed the biggest things he learned from Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry during the 2024 Olympics. Team USA’s practices were highly competitive, and Edwards credits Curry for that.

“I think that was the best part about the whole thing—the practices,” Edwards said during the Wolves’ media day. “The best thing I learned was from Steph. I took Bron’s pre-game routine, but with Steph, it was all about playing without the ball.”

“The last few days, we’ve been playing five-on-five, and I just keep cutting, getting out of the way, and I’m getting easy shots,” he continued. “I think I learned the most from Steph.”

Edwards 2023-24 season was outstanding as he finished with averages of 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game. After a Western Conference Finals appearance, he helped Team USA secure their fifth consecutive gold medal in the Olympics.

If Edwards bumps up his off-ball movement and cutting to an even higher level this season, it could mean trouble for the rest of the league.
