Davis suffered multiple hits to the face in matchups with Dallas, but he will be ready for training camp.
He recorded a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds per matchup, while shooting 46.1 percent from the field.
Davis, a 10-time All-Star, five-time All-NBA Team selection, five-time All-NBA Defensive Team selection, three-time NBA blocks leader, and 2020 NBA Champion, is arguably the most dominant big man in the league when healthy.
Dallas drafted Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick and looks forward to Kyrie Irving’s recovery process.
Irving tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on March 3 versus the Sacramento Kings. The Mavericks believed so much in him that he gained a three-year extension. The Mavs are hopeful to have a monster big three soon with Irving, Flagg, and Davis.
