Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson hit a walk-off home run to clinch a comeback win over the Milwaukee Brewers. The final score was 5-4.
Both teams exchanged runs early in the game, but the Brewers got out to a 4-3 lead in the seventh inning thanks to a 3-run inning. However, the Tigers got a run back in the eighth with a Jahmai Jones solo homer to make it 4-4. Then, in the bottom of the ninth, Torkelson hit a walk-off home run to left field to win. It was his second home run of the season, and both have come in back-to-back games.
With the win, the Tigers now sit tied with the Cleveland Guardians for first in the AL Central at 14-12. As for the Brewers, they not sit at the bottom of the NL Central at 13-11.
