Dwight Howard has been elected to the 2025 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class. This is one of the greatest honors a player can receive.

When the Hall of Fame inductees step onto the stage at the Hall of Fame museum in Springfield, Massachusetts, they select either one person or a few people to present them. These are usually people who had a meaningful impact on the inductee during their respective careers.

Howard announced on the social media platform X that he’d like Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Garnett, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to share the stage with him.

Now, we can’t say for sure that Howard is being serious. He’s famously had a long-running beef with Shaq, one that is continuing to go on to this day. Howard and Garnett had their issues in the past, including a headbutt by Garnett to Howard during a 2015 game.

As for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Howard has expressed his admiration for the six-time NBA champion many times over the years. This includes saying Kareem may be the GOAT.

It will be interesting to see if any of the mentioned players respond to Howard. Especially Shaq, as this could possibly end their long-time beef.
