Shohei Ohtani Headlines MLB Awards With Fourth MVP Win

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Shohei Ohtani had a phenomenal season and has made more history on Thursday, winning his second straight NL MVP and the fourth MVP of his career.

He is the first player in MLB history to take home multiple MVP’s in both the NL and AL. He slammed a franchise record 55 home runs this season while leading the Dodgers to their second straight championship.

Ohtani wasn’t the only player to make history on Thursday as New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge won his third AL MVP. Judge slashed .331 on the season, winning his first batting title while hitting 53 total home runs.
