Austin Reaves has been playing on another level over the past three games. This has been much needed since Luka Doncic went out with an injury.

Reaves has averaged 40.0 points, 10.0 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game over LA’s last three games. This includes a 51-point game.

Reaves is catching everyone’s attention with his play. This includes former Lakers champion Robert Horry. According to Horry, Reaves has a chance to become another Lakers legend.

“That’s his go-to move,” Horry said about Reaves’ game-winner against the Minnesota Timberwolves. “What’s really incredible is, if you really look at his shot, he’s right-handed, right? He shot that off his right leg. So his floater is just that potent that he can shoot it off either leg, and that takes some talent.

“He might be the next logo.”

The Logo Horry is referring to is Jerry West. It’s unlikely Reaves ever matches the legendary play of West, but it’s a great compliment for a player who has stepped up when his team needs him the most.
