Former LSU football coach Brian Kelly has reportedly rejected two separate settlement offers from the school, demanding a full $54 million buyout, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.
Documents show that Kelly was offered a $25 million lump sum on the day he was fired. LSU eventually increased the offer to $30 million, but the former HC rejected both offers.

In a recent letter to new LSU athletic director Verge Ausberry, Kelly’s attorneys said they want the school to “fulfill their contractual obligations” by 6 p.m. ET Monday.
“Absent this written confirmation by that date, Coach Kelly will pursue all available legal remedies,” the letter stated.

If the two sides can’t negotiate a lesser amount, LSU will owe Kelly a total of $54 million in monthly payments.
The university’s former AD Scott Woodward stepped down less than two weeks ago after Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry openly criticized Woodard for the contract he gave Kelly.
The Tigers lost again on Saturday under interim head coach Frank Wilson, losing to No. 4 Alabama 20-9 and falling to 5-4 on the season.
