The Ole Miss Rebels are currently under NCAA investigation after a second school reportedly accused them of tampering with players.
Veteran writer John Canzano reported Thursday that Fresno State is now in contact with the NCAA regarding allegations that the Rebels tampered with wide receiver Josiah Freeman.

Canzano reports that Freeman has already provided the NCAA with screenshots of communications he had with Ole Miss.
The new report comes a week after Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney publicly accused Ole Miss and Pete Golding of tampering with transfer linebacker Luke Ferrelli.
“Tampering 301 is when you’ve got a kid who’s going in the portal to sign somewhere, move there, going to classes and you’re texting them while they’re in class,” Swinney said. “That’s like a whole ‘nother level of tampering.”
NCAA VP of enforcement Jon Duncan has since confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation.
“The NCAA will investigate any credible allegations of tampering and expect full cooperation from all involved as is required by NCAA rules. We will not comment further on any ongoing investigation.”
