LaVar Ball has taken a lot of flack over the years for his brash talk. One thing you can’t say negatively about him is his love for his three sons. Recently, a video hit the web where former NBA champion Matt Barnes commends LaVar Ball for getting his sons to the NBA.

Matt Barnes commends LaVar Ball

Matt Barnes went on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, and he talked about the misconception of people thinking he didn’t like LaVar Ball. This something that didn’t sit well with Barnes.

He also commended LaVar as a father for how he was there for his kids and how he helped push all of them to the NBA. This isn’t any easy thing to do, father.

Of course, the recent news of LiAngelo Ball being cut puts a sour taste in LaVar’s mouth. Still, you know LaVar won’t stop pushing for LiAngelo to become a better player and hopefully, one day soon, we’ll see LiAngelo back on an NBA roster.

The interview dives deep into Barnes’ feeling about LaVar and is a good listen for all NBA fans, especially fans of the Ball family.
