The Phoenix Suns are one of the oldest teams in the NBA. Naturally, and much like the rest of the league, they’ve been dealing with their fair share of injuries. But it looks like Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal may be returning to the court soon.
“We’ll see how they feel coming out of today,” Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters Friday. “The hope, the plan is they play five-on-five Sunday and continue to make that progression and hopefully be available for Tuesday against the Lakers.”

He continued by saying that the team feels good about the progression of Durant’s calf injury.

This recovery plan matches the recent report from NBA insider Shams Charania, who reported that both Durant and Beal were eyeing a return in the next week.
The Suns started the season off 9-2 before injuries began piling up and the losses became more frequent. They currently sit at sixth place in the Western Conference with a 9-7 record but when healthy, this squad is an offensive powerhouse.
