Nike is now showing off the new signature shoe of Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant, doing so in a hilarious way.

In a new ad for Durant’s Nike KD 19, he’s seen showing off a few ridiculously ugly shoe concepts to Drake, who gasses up the designs regardless.

As he pulls out a sneaker-cowboy boot hybrid followed by a fur covered shoe, he realizes Drake will have nothing but good things to say regardless.

The final shoe he reveals is the actual KD 19, which Drake hypes up even more than the previous decoy shoes, drawing a yes-man accusation from Durant.

The final result is a funny ad that also does a solid job of revealing the design of the shoe. The KD 19 is expected to hit the shelves around June 17.

With Wednesday’s new commercial going viral, the KD 19 has become one of the more anticipated sneaker releases of 2026.

Durant first signed a deal with Nike in 2007 and has since released over a dozen signature sneaker models. He went on to sign a lifetime deal with the brand in 2023.
