Of all 30 teams in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns are the sole squad that are not in the playoffs, play-in tournament or the draft lottery. Simply put, the Suns are in the middle of no man’s land. After losing eight straight games as the season comes to a close, Devin Booker spoke on how he felt about the season.
“It’s been a slow bleed out. I’ve been feeling this way for a majority of the season,” Booker said. “The small glimpses of good stretches that we’ve played gave me hope and probably gave everybody else hope.”

Booker also explained that he thinks the Suns can do a lot to improve their situation.
“More than one thing,” Booker said. “But the summertime is to digest and look back, see what went wrong, compare it to when things were going right and vocalize that.”
Booker is certainly correct and Suns fans should expect a lot of changes to take place over the summer. Coach Mike Budenholzer is likely on the hot seat and the team is expected to explore trade options for Kevin Durant in the offseason.
Phoenix traded away all of their first round draft picks for the near future, so the Suns will need to make a change internally.
