The Oklahoma City Thunder secured a 120-107 Game 2 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, thanks to the success of the play-style they’ve used all season.

The first quarter was competitive as the Suns kept pace with OKC. Despite a turnover disadvantage, Phoenix was down by just one after the first 12 minutes.
In the second quarter, the Thunder turned it into a game of possessions. The Suns didn’t go completely cold, but they weren’t putting up enough shots to keep pace.
By halftime, OKC had pulled ahead by eight.
The first portion of the third quarter was slow, but Chet Holmgren helped the Thunder anchor on defense while also leading them on a 13-2 run to end the quarter with a 23-point lead.
In the fourth quarter, Devin Booker helped the Suns put together a 20-4 run, but they still faced a 10-point deficit with less than four minutes to play.
Down the stretch, Luguentz Dort hit a huge clutch three to stay ahead by 13 with two minutes to go. The Suns failed to get anything to fall in the final minutes as they suffered defeat.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 37 points to go along with five rebounds and nine assists.
For Phoenix, Dillon Brooks had 30 points and five rebounds while Booker put up 22 points and seven rebounds.
The series will now go to Phoenix with the Thunder ahead 2-0.
