The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards 121-96 on Wednesday behind a vintage performance from future hall-of-famer James Harden.
The Clippers were in the lead from start to finish, thanks in part to Harden’s 43 point, seven assist outing. The former MVP shot nearly 60% from the floor and made a season-high seven three pointers.

The Wizards struggled as a team both offensively and defensively, but Malcolm Brogdon and Jonas Valanciunas each put up 17 points in Wednesday’s loss.
The Clippers have been a topic of recent conversation, but mostly due to the injury woes and overall uncertainty of the team’s identity.
While the Wizards may not be the toughest opponent in the league, this kind of win is a morale booster and probably improves the confidence of Harden and the rest of the roster.
The Clippers are now 12-8 on the season while the Wizards’ losing streak extends to 13 games as they drop to 2-15 this season.
