This is an incredible honor for Rose, as he’s from Chicago, played a good portion of his career in Chicago, and now will have his number retired in Chicago.
Rose played seven seasons with the Bulls, averaging 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. He won the MVP award in the 2010-11 season, becoming the youngest recipient in NBA history.
Rose’s career could have been better, but he suffered an ACL injury in 2012, which changed his career forever. Still, he is a Chicago Bulls legend.
