Kansas City Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt was arrested Wednesday night and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. The Chiefs are aware of the incident and so far have not commented on the situation.
Merritt has been accused of “unlawfully, knowingly, or recklessly” causing bodily harm to his daughter, which counts as a domestic violence offense.
