2025 NBA Playoffs

Alex Caruso proved monumental in Thunder tying NBA Finals series

He was not selected in the 2016 NBA Draft from Texas A&M University, but Alex Caruso is going after a second NBA Championship.

The All-NBA Defensive first-team selection (2023) and the NBA Hustle Award winner for the 2024-25 campaign captured his first league championship ring in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers. After three seasons in Chicago, Caruso is on another team contending for a Larry O’Brien trophy. He played a role in Oklahoma City obtaining the best regular season record (68-14), securing the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Caruso was monumental in Sunday’s game two matchup versus Indiana in the NBA Finals. He produced 20 points off the bench in 27 minutes, including a six-of-11 outing from the field.

SGA sets record with 9 straight 30-point home games

Caruso made four of eight 3-point shots, aiding OKC to a 123-107 victory to tie the series at one.

His excellence on the floor has made this a series, especially after the Pacers stole game one.

Caruso looks to continue his importance Wednesday in game three.
