The Miami Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by 41 points on Wednesday with a final score of 134-93. While Lakers star LeBron James broke out of his slump with a 29-point outing, Anthony Davis struggled heavily and finished with just eight points, seven rebounds and five assists.

After just a few minutes of action, it was clear that Miami’s offense was going to have a field day against L.A.’s offense. They did just that and set a new franchise record for assists. Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat with 31 points and five rebounds with nine three-pointers.

While Miami’s offense shot a very efficient 58% from the field and 51% from 3PT range while holding the Lakers to 42% and 23% in the same categories.
