Four-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson made more history on Wednesday, signing a three-year, $5 million supermax contract extension with the Las Vegas Aces, according to multiple ESPN insiders.

The new deal is officially the largest contract in WNBA history.
“A’ja is truly one of one, who has led this franchise to where it is today,” Aces president and GM Nikki Fargas said in a statement. “Not only has she catapulted into the history books and surpassed almost every record in existence, but she does so with the utmost confidence, authenticity and grace. We look forward to continuing to see her thrive in an Aces uniform.”
Wilson led the Aces to the 2022, 2023 and 2025 WNBA titles and averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game last season. She also became the first player across both the WNBA and the NBA to win the MVP, scoring title, Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP in one season.
With nearly the entire team returning to run it back, the Aces look eager to go back-to-back for a second time.
