After a long period of excitement and anticipation, Nike made waves on Wednesday with the official reveal of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark‘s first signature shoe, the Caitlin 1.

Even before reaching the WNBA, Clark was one of the most popular athletes on the planet while breaking records during her time with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Fans around the world have been waiting for her to get a signature basketball shoe and Nike’s reveal on Wednesday puts an official timer on that wait.
The Caitlin 1 will officially hit the market globally on October 1.
“Having my own shoe has been a dream for as long as I can remember, and seeing it come to life is pretty incredible,” Clark said on the shoe. “I wanted it to reflect how I play—fast, confident, and ready to let it fly.”
So far this season, Clark’s on-court production has improved across the board and she’s averaging a career-high 20.4 points per game through 13 games.
