Golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Friday shortly after he was involved in a two-car crash in which his SUV flipped over onto it’s side.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Department announced that Woods was traveling at a high speed near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida on Friday afternoon and attempted to pass a work truck that was carrying a trailer. Police say Woods’ SUV then clipped the back of the trailer and flipped over.

He was reportedly uninjured in the crash and no official injuries were reported for anyone involved.
Woods was arrested at the scene after officers described him as “lethargic.” He has been charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Officers suspect that Woods was under the influence of “some type of medication or drug” after he submitted a 0.00 breathalyzer but refused to submit a urine sample.
He has reportedly been transferred to the county jail, where he’ll likely remain for the required minimum of eight hours.
Amidst rumblings of a return the Masters, Friday’s crash comes just days after Woods made his professional return in the TGL indoor golf final.
