Ticket prices reach over $30,000 for Knicks’ ECF home opener

The New York Knicks have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA postseason so far. Time and time again, they’ve carved out enormous leads over their opponents through the first two rounds.

To put it simply, New York feels more “back” than ever and the ticket prices are showing it.

Their Eastern Conference Finals opponents haven’t even been decided, and tickets for the first game at Madison Square Garden on SeatGeek and other ticket platforms have already reached over $33,000 and beyond.

While those courtside tickets are practically the best seats possible, the cheapest tickets up in the nosebleeds are now going for upwards of $600.

That number is astronomical, but it’s not unexpected for a Knicks team that’s had arguably the hottest offense throughout the playoffs.

Karl-Anthony Towns is showing off a new level of versatility with elevated playmaking while Jalen Brunson has continued to deliver in the clutch.

The entire team as a whole has been playing at an elite level, especially two-way wing OG Anunoby. He’s seen a major jump in virtually every statistic throughout the postseason.

They’ve carved through the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers on their way to the ECF, where they await the winner of Sunday’s Game 7 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons.

MSG is sure to be an intense atmosphere for the ECF, but no one will be getting in for cheap.
