After nine innings dominated by solid pitching and disciplined fielding, the New York Yankees took down the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0 on Sunday with a walk-off home run by outfielder Aaron Judge.

It was a nasty, rainy affair that saw both teams go completely scoreless for most of the matchup. While the Yankees managed to outpace Tampa Bay in terms of batting average, they couldn’t convert those hits into runs.

On multiple occasions, the Rays found themselves in the same situation. They loaded the bases several times before the Yankees cleaned it up and kept Tampa Bay scoreless.

Yankee stadium remained mostly full, despite both the 0-0 score and the less-than-ideal weather. This ultimately paid off, with Judge stepping up to the plate in the ninth inning.

With a runner on first and a 0-0 pitch count, Judge slammed a 363′ walk-off home run to secure the win and the 2-1 weekend series victory.
