Oklahoma City fans are fantasizing over something it has wanted since its franchise moved from Seattle, Wash.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led the most exciting team in the National Basketball Association to the best record (64-12) in the league and has himself in front of the Most Valuable Player race. The Thunder have a chance of capturing an NBA Championship with its best player at 26 years old and averaging 32.9 points per game. “It is not,” Morris said on ESPN’s Get Up on if OKC is his pick to win an NBA title.
“You have to talk about depth, you have to talk about guys who have actually been there in the lights. It is way different. This team has been healthy all season. Who is the guy they can go to with experience when it gets rough? They have been playing really well this year. There have not been a lot of downs, but what happens when that happens?”
OKC will be the second-youngest team to enter the NBA playoffs as a No. 1 seed.
