Shaq and Dwight reunite: Hall of Fame collaboration

Shaq laughs while calling game

Shaquille O’Neal and Dwight Howard have been long-time rivals. It began because of an unfair comparison.

Howard was drafted to the Orlando Magic just like Shaq. They were both big and strong centers who dunked the ball with authority. What took their comparison to the next level was the fact they both were nicknamed Superman.

Because of this, it seemed farfetched when Howard went on social media, asking Shaq, along with Kevin Garnett and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, to present him at the Hall of Fame.

No one believed Shaq would agree to present Howard at the Hall of Fame, but it appears the two have reconciled. During an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, the Big Diesel ended their feud and confirmed he’ll walk Howard out at his Hall of Fame ceremony.

“That’s awesome. I’ll do it,” O’Neal said. “I’ll be there. That’s my guy.”

It would be great to see Shaq put his differences aside and present Howard at the Hall of Fame. Hopefully, Shaq sticks to his word and this isn’t yet another prank by the most dominant player in NBA history.
