Dwight Howard is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year winner, an NBA champion, and now a basketball Hall of Famer. What he can’t boast is being a member of the 75th anniversary team.

Howard was shockingly snubbed from the NBA’s 75th anniversary team. This came as a shock to the former Orlando Magic star.

“The 75-team, yes, it hurt,” Howard said. “It was like a big slap in the face to not be on that team. But to go in the Hall of Fame not only for what I did for myself, but to help the USA team win a gold medal.
“To go in twice in the same year, it’s like God said, ‘I’m gonna double pound you for being persistent, consistent, and always thanking me for blessing you.”
Howard made the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame twice. Once for his playing career and the other as a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic “Redeem Team.”
This is a great achievement for a great and underrated player.
