The Los Angeles Lakers signed free agent guard Quentin Grimes to a four-year $60 million deal with a player option according to Shams Charania.

Grimes is a part of a large free agent class brought in by Rob Pelinka which includes Collin Sexton and Walker Kessler who were acquired in response to the departure of LeBron James.
Through his five seasons in the NBA Grimes has proven to be an elite three point threat off the bench.
He played for the Philadelphia 76ers the past two seasons and averaged 13.4 points on 45% shooting from the field and 33.4% from three point range.
However he was a priority to be brought in by the Lakers due to his previous relationship with Luca Dončić who he played with in Dallas in 2024.
