According to court records, a Florida judge has now granted prosecutors’ request to subpoena the prescription drug records of golf legend Tiger Woods.

Woods was behind the wheel during a car accident in March in which his SUV clipped a truck trailer and flipper over. On the scene, officers said he appeared intoxicated and he went on to fail multiple field sobriety tests. He passed an alcohol breathalyzer, but police say they found two hydrocodone pills in his pocket.

He was then arrested and has since pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor DUI, refusal to submit to a lawful test and distracted driving.

His prescription drug records are now expected to be subpoenaed, but they won’t be made available to the public.

Both sides came to an agreement on Tuesday that the records will only be made available to prosecutors, expert witnesses, law enforcement and his defense team.

Prosecutors are reportedly seeking information on the medications filled between Jan. 1 and March 27. This includes the dosage amount, number of pills prescribed and any warnings on the labels of the medications.

Days after the crash, the 50-year-old announced that he was stepping away from golf to seek treatment.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”
