2025 NBA Playoffs

Pascal Siakam led the way with pivotal double-double in Pacers’ Game 1 win in NBA Finals

He captured an NBA Championship in 2019 with Toronto, but now he looks to join the company of stars with multiple rings.

Pascal Siakam has been special for the Indiana Pacers this postseason.

Haliburton’s Game-Winner Lifts Pacers Over Thunder In Game 1

The talented stretch forward can do it all, and he propelled Indiana’s offense in scoring for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Siakam turned in a strong outing on Thursday with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 111-110 victory over Oklahoma City. Tyrese Haliburton hit the game-winning shot with seconds remaining, but “Spicy P” played a critical role in spoiling a near 40-point (38) performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Siakam recorded three assists and a block on seven-of-15 shooting from the field.

The three-time NBA All-Star and Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player also shared a message with Haliburton after the game.

“We did not even play well,” Siakam said.

He already has Haliburton and others locked in for Game 2.

Oklahoma City has an unselfish team, but so does Indiana and it makes this finals exciting to watch.

Siakam has been consistently productive in the playoffs. We will see if he guides the Pacers to taking Sunday’s matchup from OKC.
