Th With the 2026 NFL Draft now over, plenty of teams believe that they have found some hidden gems, especially in the later rounds. Only a handful of players will actually get a chance to prove them right. Here is a breakdown of the five picks that have great potential to be a steal in the draft.
1. Emmanuel Pregnon, G, Jacksonville Jaguars
TOP NEWS
The Jaguars selected Pregnon in the third round in what was arguably their greatest pick of the draft. Pregnon is a sixth-year Senior who transferred to USC from Wyoming and was an All-American last season. Standing at 6’4 and 314 pounds, he can block at both the run and hold his ground as a pass protector. The only thing stopping him from being a higher draft pick was his age, but he should have no problem competing for a starting spot with the Jaguars.
2. Keionte Scott, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers took Scott in the fourth round after a breakout season with the Miami Hurricanes. Scott, who transferred from Auburn, played a big part in Miami’s run to the national championship, including a 72-yard pick-six against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. He should find plenty of success in Todd Bowles‘ scheme, especially as a slot corner. Similar to Pregnon, Scott is on the older side at 25, but should be just fine settling in.
3. Jermod McCoy, CB, Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders took McCoy in the fourth round with the No. 101 pick. McCoy was originally viewed as a first-round pick, but fell all the way to the fourth round due to his knee. He missed all of 2025 with a torn ACL, and it is unknown if another procedure on his knee is needed. Regardless, the Raiders took the risk, and if healthy, McCoy could turn out to be a steal. In 2024, he was named first-team All-SEC, finishing with four picks and nine pass deflections.
4. Eli Stowers, TE, Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles took Stowers in the second round, adding some explosiveness to their offense. The future of the Eagles offense is unknown, with A.J. Brown rumored to be on the move. The Eagles drafted Makai Lemon in the first round to potentiall replace Brown, but not also have Stowers. Dallas Goedert is 31-years old and signed a one-year deal to return, meaning Stowers time to shine may be coming sooner rather than later.
5. Anthony Hill Jr, LB, Tennessee Titans
The Titans drafted Hill in the second round to help address major concerns on defense. They finished with one of the worst defenses in the league last year, and Hill brings the three-down versatility. He should be able to compete for starting snaps instantly and should transform a Titans defense that allowed 28.1 points per game.
