The Los Angeles Lakers won three in a row and looked to get back on top after a bad spell of games. Then came Thursday night, when they played their rivals, the Denver Nuggets.
Despite a hard-fought game, the Lakers fell to the Nuggets. The very next night, LA was back in action against the Indiana Pacers, and they were without LeBron James, who had injured his elbow against Denver.

Luckily for the Lakers, they were playing the Pacers, one of the NBA’s worst teams and they still had Luka Doncic. The Slovenian superstar dropped 44 points on 14-25 shooting.
Doncic also added nine rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocked shots. He did everything.
The Lakers, who led by 24 at one point, ended up winning 128-117. This was a great bounce-back victory for a Lakers team fighting to stay in the top six seeds out in a competitive Western Conference.
