The Denver Nuggets continue to play elite basketball. Even when they seem down and out, they never quit and usually find a way to win the ball game.

The Nuggets came out flat and found themselves down by 23 points at one point in the first half. By halftime, Denver trailed 73-54 to Atlanta.
In the second half, it was another story. The Nuggets dropped 40 points in both the third and fourth quarters. They were led by Nikola Jokic, who scored 40 points himself in the game, to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists.
Jokic also received some help in the game. Jamal Murray scored 23 points while adding 12 assists. They also got 17 points off the bench from Tim Hardaway Jr.
Denver would complete the comeback, which was their third-largest in franchise history, winning 134-133.
The Nuggets look tough thus far in the season. They look hungry to get back on top of the league and win another NBA championship.
