The Washington Wizards and AJ Dybantsa went head to head with the Sacramento Kings and Darius Acuff Jr. in an exciting Summer League battle on Sunday.

With the No. 1 pick and the No. 7 pick matching up for the first time this season, Dybantsa continued his impressive run to lead the Wizards to a 104-85 victory.

The first quarter was a slow start for both teams, although Dybantsa wasted no time putting up most of Washington’s points early. At the tame time, Acuff didn’t have the same start, but Sacramento carved out a six-point lead after ten minutes.

In the second quarter, the Wizards came alive on both ends of the floor to regain control of the matchup. Dybantsa continued to struggle with his outside shot, but his finishing and free throw shooting was more than enough.

A 36-point second frame from the Wizards gave them a 13-point lead by halftime.

Washington’s advantage in outside shooting, rebounding and ball security became apparent as the second half began, with the Wizards going up by 17 points in the third quarter.

Near the end of the third and into the fourth, Sacramento strung together a few timely buckets to make it a single-digit game with less than eight minutes to play.

Will Riley had a tremendous second half for the Wizards, helping them stay out in front by 10 points entering the last four minutes.

He took over on offense in a major way to ice the game completely and push Washington’s Summer League record to 2-0.

Riley led all scorers with 32 points and six rebounds on 9-of-14 shooting while Dybantsa put up 23 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks on 6-of-15 shooting.

For Sacramento, Acuff continued to battle through growing pains and finished with 12 points, four assists and five turnovers on 4-of-14 shooting.
