The superstar is already in San Antonio (Texas), but NBA fans went crazy on social media Wednesday after watching this young player for the Spurs have a viral performance.
Victory Wembanyama, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, is out for the season with deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder. He was igniting the crowd with his play before the injury, but a former second-round pick of the 2021 draft had fans and celebrities in awe during San Antonio’s matchup against the Knicks. Sandro Mamukelashvili, who is in his third season with the Spurs, had a career game off the bench. He looked like Superman for 19 minutes, making buckets each time he had the ball.

Mamukelashvili came a rebound shy of his first career double-double, dropping 34 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
He missed only one shot — going 13 of 14 from the field — and made seven 3-pointers.
