The Greensboro Swarm took part in an open scrimmage against the Lakeland Magic yesterday. Unfortunately, there was no live feed of the game. However, thanks to an Instagram user, Ball Exclusives obtained some footage of the game.
For context, the video is shot with the user seated opposite of the Swarm bench. The angle is not great, however, one can still make out how the Swarm performed, as well as LiAngelo.

The scrimmage setting appeared to be separated in quarters. After each quarter, the score was reset back to zero, with the Swarm playing a majority of 9 total players the first half.

With 9:35 in the 3rd quarter, LiAngleo checked in. What was interesting was he was inserted along with four of the starting five. What does this mean? It’s hard to say, but it likely means he is in the Swarm’s rotation to an extent.
The fact he did not play a minute of the first half with the other 9 players was telling. However, being he was included within the starters’ minutes, gives fans reason to believe he will have a role this season.
We were unable to verify LiAngelo’s fourth quarter stats due to the video ending prematurely. However, LiAngelo did manage to record 4 points, 2 steals, 1 rebound, 1 steal, and 1 turnover.
