LiAngelo Ball married Rashida Nicole on March 24, 2025. Everything appeared to be going well for the couple, and they even announced they were pregnant just a week ago.

Then, news broke from TMZ. It claimed that LiAngelo had filed for divorce, just a week after the pregnancy announcement.

The reason for the split was described as “irreconcilable differences,” and was filed at a Southern California courthouse on July 3. LiAngelo is said to be asking for joint custody and visitation. He’s also asking to terminate spousal support for both parties.

Who is Rashida Nicole?

Rashida Nicole is a reality star and actress who appeared in the hit show, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She appeared in an independent film titled Last Straw, while also appearing in the Starz series Survivor’s Remorse.

On top of her acting and film work, Nicole has launched her own beauty care company named The ShiSpaz, and she’s earned a degree in broadcast journalism at Eastern Illinois University, as well as a Master’s in Business Communications.
