The Lakers lost their first game of the ‘In Season’ tournament in two seasons on Tuesday night, after a 127-100 loss to Phoenix. They currently sit at 10-7 and are 2-1 in the tournament.
LeBron James, who had his tenth double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 assists, also moved up the 3-point ranks by tying former NBA sharpshooter Kyle Korver for 7th all-time with 2,450 3-pointers in his career before he retired in 2020.

When James hit that mark with 7:11 in the 4th, was trolled by Korver when he took to social media and said, “took you long enough.” The former teammate of James was part of those Cleveland teams that went to the Finals.
He’s already the all-time leading scorer, 4th in assists (11,165), and is 1357 3-pointer’s away from catching the all-time great Steph Curry. Curry is still playing so it will be tough for the soon to be 40 year-old to catch the greatest shooter this league has ever seen, but I wouldn’t put it past his greatness.
His focus is not getting to the top of that list, but to continue adding to his legacy with championships.
