The Miami Heat are bringing back forward Andrew Wiggins on a three-year deal worth $64 million according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Wiggins will also have a player option on the third year of the contract and will pick up the $30 million player option for the 2026-27 season.

The former No. 1 overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft adds needed talent on the wing following the franchise’s trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo which gutted the Heat’s talent on the perimeter. Miami’s trade with the Bucks is due to be approved in the coming weeks but it will send Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis and three first round picks, a swap and a second round pick for Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis.

Wiggins averaged 15.4 points per game on 47.5% shooting from the field in his first season full season with the Heat after being acquired at the trade deadline in February 2025.
